I am a software engineer living in Los Angeles. I am trying to be more active in the Skeptical, especially as I have a daughter that I want to be raise in a rational community. In the same vein as Brian Dunning's amazing Skeptoid, I have started to have a weekly-ish blog where I look into the scientific data behind various topics or claims. The point is set a good example by citing all of my sources, such that people may debate the accuracy of them... but really only if they can present their own sources.
